NEW YORK — Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony left Tuesday’s game against the Boston Celtics early in the third quarter as a result of a correct ankle sprain.
X-rays on the ankle were negative, according to the team.
Anthony, 31, initially suffered the injury with 1:20 left to play in the second (go to buy mt nba 2k16) quarter, when he rolled his ankle on the foot of referee Steve Anderson though running back on defense.
