Nasri calls for additional City signings

Soon after seeing their rivals make important reinforcements, Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri desires additional signings at his club.

Samir Nasri believes Manchester City have to enter the transfer marketplace once again to maintain up with Manchester United and Chelsea, regardless of spending massive dollars to sign Raheem Sterling.

“I think that we will need some other players. When we see Manchester United, Chelsea, they’ve purchased players as well. So we need a few additional,” he mentioned.
Questioned on why he and his team-mates failed to match Jose Mourinho’s side last term, Nasri said: “The only issue [missing] I feel was mentally, we give the title [away] really easily.
“We didn’t fight for the end. With new players, with everybody who has to fight for his spot, I just believe it will be a improved season.
“Everyone wants to complete better. Simply because we’re not pleased when we don’t win something.”
As for Nasri himself, he has currently claimed he will not worry for his place following the arrival of a fellow attacker in Sterling and is searching forward to making a bigger influence in 2015-16.
“It’s a distinct season. I hope, most importantly, it will be injury free of charge,” he stated.
“Last year I had as well lots of [injuries]. It’s great to be fit in the course of pre-season. I’ll endeavor to play a major role for the group. And give them what I couldn’t last year and be there for the squad.”
