O.J. Mayo of Milwaukee Bucks ejected, goes on tirade at referee

MINNEAPOLIS — Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo was ejected within the initial quarter of a 95-85 win over Minnesota and had to be forcibly removed in the court by assistant coaches.

Mayo picked up a technical foul from Pat Fraher right after arguing for any foul contact on a drive for the basket. Because the game went to break, referee Jason Phillips gave Mayo another technical, which prompted the ejection. Mayo spun back toward the officiating crew, and coaches Eric Hughes and Joe Prunty had to (come to www.nbamtcoin.com) attempt to restrain him by yanking on his jersey.

Teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo as well as a Bucks security official had to step in at the same time to try to include the livid Mayo.

“It was a poor choice on my end to absolutely disrespect the game,” Mayo said right after the game. “Poor choice of mine to misrepresent the Bucks, myself, my household, of course my teammates.”

Mayo was escorted all the way off the court after trying to go back at the official.

“That’s my guy. He’s excellent,” Mayo stated of Hughes. “Things take place, and he has my back. And you know, I’ve his back. That stated, undesirable choice by me but delighted we got the win.”

Prunty pointed out how Mayo’s emotion on the court can either serve the team or hinder it.

“In the moment, that is definitely not what we would like to do,” Prunty mentioned. “We have to stay (click here to buy NBA 2k16 MT) inside our character. But he’ll be fine, and also you know, it really is some thing, it takes place at times.”
